Cisco IMPACT 24 Day 2 Opener

In August, 2023, Remedy Editorial asked me to design and animate a 60 second opening sequence for day two of Cisco’s IMPACT 24 conference. The piece needed to be high energy, but also very simple and straightforward. The challenge, besides the incredibly tight deadline, was that the main content needed to fit into a 5408x832 aspect ratio and also be split up and play back across some 22 individual screens of varying aspect ratios and shapes mounted in the arena. Remedy provided an After Effects project that split the animation comps into the separate screen outputs as well as placed them into visualization comps for previewing them in context. They also provided a couple frames of a very rudimentary storyboard concept, which along with the brand elements served as a starting point.
